Scholarship Funds have surpassed $1.9 million

Program continued to grow in number of students and size of scholarship given. Scholarship Luncheon was added to honor recipients

Launched the “March to a Million” campaign for the fund; surpassed the goal by 2010

Scholarship Program grew to include students pursuing vocational careers. Program grew to give out 12 – 15 scholarships per year

Through major contributions, Scholarship Fund grew to $100,000 Recipients grew to 10 per year

Established the Whittier Lions Foundation – Scholarship Fund Awarded first scholarship for $500
