The WHLC designed and fully furnished the Shelter Home’s interiors including all new bedroom furniture, artwork and furniture for all the living areas. Cost: $80,000

The WHLC designed and constructed a new kitchen for the Shelter Home for the families. Cost: $56,000

The WHLC helped secure with the City of Whittier the space for the main offices on Washington Ave.  We designed and contracted the construction of the WCCS offices as well as purchased all the furniture and artwork for the space. Cost: $218,000

Donated $3,000 to CAPC Inc.

Set aside $80,270 of Club funds and matched with Lion International Funds and $35,000 in private donations for the design, construction, and furnishing of the Women’s and Children’s Crisis Shelter offices

Gave $3,000 to the Whittier Area Literacy Council
